Training

Our training program includes the following:

  • On installation our product specialist delivers a minimum of 2 days "on site" intensive training of the team in first week with 24 hour on-call facility for those 2 days
  • We provide as many follow up training visits as is required in the first six months. The following has proved to be sufficient in almost all centres so far:
    • A further one/two day's intensive training - 2/3 weeks following first week's training
    • One day every month if needed for the next 6 months
    • Access to telephone help-line during office hours
    • A tutorial book and "sign-off competency exam" for operators
    • Basic maintenance and quality control
    • Unique algorithm and trigger points for the TEG® system guided protocol
    • Opportunity to attend Medicell advanced courses on the use of TEG® systems and Coagulation
    • Opportunity to visit and meet other key centres where TEG® Systems are being used

Our backup includes an optional service program that provides on site service, maintenance and systems cover. Our comprehensive program offers a specialist team which provides on-call facility to troubleshoot operator problems, A call out, Analyser cover, free parts and labour and free upgrades to software. In addition to this we provide a total of five visits including one annual service (see attached).

In summary, our intensive training in the first 6 months of installation, with continuous updates and advanced training courses over the next 12 months, is backed up with a comprehensive program of service and support nationwide, by a team of at least 4 specialists with unique clinical and laboratory experience. Our network of centres allows us to combine the knowledge and expertise of clinicians who have uniquely used this system over many years.
