Medicell Ltd. has been the exclusive distributor of the Haemoscope TEG® (Thrombelastograph®) Haemostasis System in the UK and Ireland for the past 10 years. Now a Haemonetics® Company, Medicell is able to provide all the benefits of the TEG® system as part of Haemonetics Worldwide Blood Management Solutions programme. Helping hospitals and blood banks improve patient outcomes and lower costs by optimising the management and use of blood resources, the TEG® system compliments the broad product range including blood collection and separation technologies, surgical blood salvage systems, software and consulting services that audit and improve hospital-wide blood management practices.

The Haemoscope TEG® is the original thrombelastograph technology, now in its 5th generation of development. The TEG® system not only provides the monitoring of whole blood haemostasis, but also now provides the unique ability to monitor the INDIVIDUAL effects of ASPIRIN and CLOPIDOGREL in a clinical setting at point-of-care or laboratory, with real time data being networked throughout the hospital.

The Haemoscope TEG® Haemostasis System draws a picture of the delicate haemostatic balance or imbalance present - depicting all phases of haemostasis from initial fibrin formation through clot lysis. It quantifies hemorrhagic, thrombotic and fibrinolytic states so you can stratify risk of bleeding and ischemic events and personalized therapies.

The specialists at Medicell consist of a team that has many years of clinical experience in both the laboratory and perioperative areas of medicine.
